Yes, I dedicated my time to raising two amazing sons, and my heart broke when they both went off to college. Although I had a web developer certification from Albright College, I always said I would eventually go to college and earn my degree. When my sons embarked on their own journeys, the timing felt right to focus on my academic aspirations. I began anew, dedicating two years to Harrisburg Community College before transferring to Albright College. There, I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Management of Information Systems, achieving a 3.984 GPA. After earning my bachelor's degree, I continued my education and obtained a Master of Science degree from the University of Cincinnati.
I served as a Business Development Manager at an automotive dealership, overseeing all facets of internet/online marketing for three years before pursuing a college education.
For eight years, I operated as a designer and web developer at my own company, managing every aspect of the business, including the staff.
Additionally, I held the position of Business Manager at a construction firm for eight years, managing the office operations, engaging with clients, and preparing job estimates.
Although I possess a diverse skill set and extensive background, I recognize that any new role will necessitate an onboarding process and an adjustment period to align my skills with the new position and the company's procedures.
At McDonald's, my first job, my professionalism, dedication to excellence, and organizational skills earned the trust of the managers. At just 16, they entrusted me with the responsibility of running the restaurant during their meetings with the owners. I successfully minimized product waste and excelled in managing the drive-thru efficiently.
My husband, a retired Facilities Director for a county government in Pennsylvania, was fortunate to retire early after 23 years of civil service. In 2019, we relocated to Tennessee.
He is a serious car enthusiast, and if you get him started talking about it, you’ll learn more about horsepower, torque, and other car details than you ever thought you would know.
This is home for now: I have set a personal goal to purchase 20+ acres and to design and construct my own custom home.
Goal: Remote position that I can keep learning and growing in my skillset.
